The Brahmanpara Upazila Cooperative Office is located in rooms 6 and 7 of the old court building of the Upazila Parishad Complex.

 

Upazila Cooperative Office located in the heart of Brahmanpara Upazila. There are a total of ten Metropolitan Thana Cooperative Offices (Dhaka-6, Chittagong-2, Rajshahi-1, Khulna-1) in 4 divisional cities. This office is managed by the Divisional Joint-Registrar and District Cooperative Officer under the Cooperatives Department of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives. In the past, cooperative societies have been playing a significant role in the country by providing agricultural loans and inputs on easy terms, motivating farmers to use modern agricultural inputs and improved farming, marketing of manufactured goods and now building capital and creating self-employment. On the other hand, the issue of human resource development across the country through participation in the formation, management and training process of cooperative societies in different professions can also be specially mentioned. Cooperatives are based on: democracy, equality and solidarity and its goal is self-reliance and self-reliance. The expectation of the cooperative is: to build a well-educated and skilled manpower irrespective of democracy-minded, corruption-free, transparent, accountable men and women.
